About Me

My name is Tara Stivers and I live in Camarillo with my husband and two "babies", now seven and eight (both born in Ventura County). My own journey into motherhood inspired me to support families as they go through the amazing transformation that occurs with pregnancy, birth and new life.

As both a mother and a birth/postpartum support professional, I understand the importance of support and education through pregnancy, birth and the early months of parenthood. I am honored when I am part of this circle of support! My goal is to help families discover and define what is important to them through this journey, and to help make it a positive and empowering experience.

I have supported couples through their birth experiences as a DONA certified birth doula for five years, serving Ventura County and the west San Fernando Valley. In addition to labor support, I provide breastfeeding support and consultations, and teach childbirth education, breastfeeding, prenatal yoga and infant massage classes, both in group settings and privately.
